I haven’t shot maternity sessions very often, but when your best friend is having a baby, you just kind of have to….and I am HOOKED! There is something incredibly magical about shooting an intimate peaceful session in the middle of nowhere with someone you’ve shared your best secrets with since the 7th grade. All I was hoping for was beautiful weather. We lucked out. Our session was on the first warm, sunny day this spring. We chose to shoot near my home studio just north of Stillwater, Minnesota in a breathtaking quiet area. Kendra stunned me with every shot, and I know baby Carter is lucky to have such a thoughtful, gorgeous mother. Let me tell you, she is a dream client. I had such a wonderful time with her planning wardrobe, hair and make up…and the maternity session was the cherry on top.
